Construction Inventory & Maintenance App

My construction firm is moving our toolroom whiteboards and paper service logs into a single mobile solution that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android. The application must let our field teams log what they take, plan equipment servicing, and see exactly where every asset is—even when they switch job sites.

Core modules to build:
• Inventory management – add, edit, check-in/out parts, consumables, and heavy equipment with barcode or QR scanning.
• Maintenance scheduling – set recurring or ad-hoc service tasks, receive push reminders, and close them out with notes and photos.
• Asset tracking – record location, status, and usage hours; flag items that are overdue for inspection.

Secure sign-in is compulsory. Role-based access should separate administrators, site supervisors, mechanics, and storekeepers so each group only sees the screens and actions relevant to them.

I’m happy for you to suggest the stack—Flutter, React Native, or another cross-platform framework—as long as the final build is performant on modern iOS and Android versions and data syncs to a cloud back end we can administer (Firebase, AWS, or equivalent).

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Smooth installation on a test iPhone and Android device.
2. Successful creation of sample inventory, maintenance tasks, and asset records with real-time sync across devices.
3. Working role restrictions (e.g., a supervisor cannot edit company-wide settings).
4. Clean, intuitive UI that our crews can pick up without training.

Source code, build instructions, and a short user guide complete the deliverable.
