Commercial Building Rebar Shop Drawings

I need an experienced structural detailer who can turn IFC and basic structural drawings for a commercial building into fully coordinated shop drawings and reinforcement details. The package covers columns, beams, foundations, retaining walls, shear walls, core walls, and the overall reinforcement plans.

Our client is working with custom, project-specific codes, so every lap length, splice, and anchorage must be checked against those bespoke requirements as well as the consultant’s specification. Your workflow should anticipate multiple comment cycles; each drawing must be updated, re-issued, and tracked until the consultant stamps it “Approved for Construction.”

Once the drawings are frozen, I also expect complete Bar Bending Schedules ready for direct upload to rebar cutting and bending machines—accuracy here directly affects waste on site.

Deliverables
• Coordinated shop drawings (DWG & PDF) for every listed element
• Verified BBS matched to drawings, ready for fabrication
• Revision log that shows how each consultant comment was closed

Acceptance criteria
1. Drawings achieve approval within two review cycles.
2. BBS totals reconcile with drawing quantities to within ±1 %.
3. CAD layers, title blocks, and file naming follow the project template I will provide.
