I have a marble slab measuring 2 feet by 1 foot and I need clean, repeatable cuts produced directly on my CNC. The job is straightforward: generate ready-to-run G-code that will carve two shapes—equilateral triangles with 37 mm sides and circles with a 35 mm diameter—out of that single slab.
The code must:
• Place as many pieces as practical on the 2' × 1' layout while avoiding collisions and keeping a safe margin from the slab edges.
• Include spindle on/off commands, tool-change (if required), plunge rate, feed rate, and coolant calls typical for marble.
• Finish each profile with a single clean pass or a sensible rough-then-finish strategy to minimise chipping.
Please deliver:
1. The final .nc (or compatible) G-code file.
2. A simple diagram or screenshot showing the nest pattern on the slab so I can preview placement.
I will load the file directly into my controller, so clarity and correct syntax are critical.
