I have an existing 2D residential floor plan prepared by a consultant. The drawing includes a ground floor, first floor, service block, room names, dimensions, plot boundaries, stairs, lift, doors/openings, and other architectural details.
I need someone to recreate the existing 2D drawing as a clean, accurate, editable AutoCAD file.
The main priority is accuracy. I do not want a rough automatic trace. I want the drawing properly redrawn in CAD based on the dimensions shown in the consultant drawing.
The freelancer should:
Recreate the full ground floor plan
Recreate the full first floor plan
Recreate the service block
Recreate the plot/site boundary
Include all walls and internal partitions
Include doors and windows/openings
Include stairs and lift
Include room names
Include the dimensions shown in the original drawing
Maintain the same layout and proportions as closely as possible
Use proper AutoCAD layers for elements such as walls, doors, windows, text, dimensions, plot boundary, etc.
Keep the CAD drawing clean and easy to modify later
Use millimetres as the drawing units
Avoid unnecessary automatic raster tracing or messy duplicate lines
The original consultant drawing will be provided as the main reference. The drawing should match it as accurately as possible.
Required deliverables:
Editable DWG file
Editable DXF file
PDF export of the completed CAD drawing
Clean layer organization
All dimensions and text editable
Before completing the project, I would like the freelancer to compare the recreated CAD drawing carefully against the original and correct any noticeable differences.
