I’ve returned from a memorable trip and have a folder packed with raw clips and photos that deserve far better than sitting on my hard drive. I’m looking for an editor who can weave all of that material into one seamless, cinematic story—full of emotion and visual punch.

You’ll receive every shot I captured, organised by day and location. My vision is a single high-quality video that plays like a short film: dramatic, emotional music underscoring dynamic, fast transitions, subtle colour grading that brings out the mood of each scene, and brief personal-note overlays that give viewers an intimate window into what I was feeling in the moment.

Preferred flow
• Keep pacing lively yet cohesive so the narrative never feels rushed.
• Match cuts to the beat of a powerful, evocative soundtrack.
• Use smooth speed-ramping, whip-pans or similar techniques where they naturally enhance the energy.
• Reserve quieter moments for reflection, letting the music breathe.

Deliverables
• Final video (1080p or 4K H.264 MP4) ready for social sharing and big-screen playback.
• Separate clean version without text overlays in case I need future edits.
• Project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut—whatever you work in) so everything is fully editable later.

Acceptance criteria
– Narrative has a clear beginning, build-up and closure.
– Dramatic soundtrack is licensed or royalty-free for online use.
– All personal overlays appear legible and on-screen long enough to read without pausing.
– No visible camera shakes, abrupt audio jumps, or jarring colour shifts.

I’m excited to see how you can turn my raw footage into a film that moves people the way the journey moved me. Let me know your preferred workflow and any questions before we begin.
