Cinematic Namkaran & Annaprashan Coverage

I have two back-to-back family ceremonies—Namkaran followed by Annaprashan—and I want them preserved with both still photography and a cinematic-style video. The heart of the assignment is to capture every ritual in detail, from the prayers and blessings to the first spoonful of food, then edit the material into a polished, emotionally engaging record we can share with relatives abroad.

Here’s how I picture the workflow: you arrive early enough to set up, film and photograph each segment as it unfolds, and then handle post-production—colour-grading, sound balancing, subtitling for chants where needed, and tasteful background music—so the final video has that smooth, film-like finish.

Deliverables (digital download):
• 4–6 minute cinematic highlight film (1080p or 4K)
• Full-length documentary-style cut of all important rituals
• 150+ professionally edited high-resolution photos

All raw footage should also be transferred to me on an external drive or cloud link. Please confirm the gear you intend to bring (DSLR/mirrorless bodies, gimbals, audio recorders, lights) and your typical turnaround time. Once we agree on a date, I’ll share the exact schedule and venue layout so you can plan your shot list around the rituals that matter most to our family.
