I have just come back from Mauritius with a hard-drive full of 4K drone, DJI and mirrorless footage and I want to turn it into a polished, cinematic travel vlog for my YouTube channel.
The finished video should feel immersive and film-like, weaving together the story of the trip through carefully chosen slow-motion moments, eye-catching time-lapse sequences and a soundtrack that builds emotion with dramatic music. While most of the raw material is already recorded, I would also like you to source a handful of extra establishing clips (ocean sunsets, aerials of the coastline, maybe some local culture shots) to fill any narrative gaps and enhance the overall flow.
Typical workflow I’m comfortable with: you edit in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut, apply thoughtful colour grading, smooth transitions and tasteful sound design, then deliver one ready-to-upload 4K file plus a project file so I can make future tweaks if needed.
Deliverables
• 1 fully edited cinematic vlog (final length to be agreed once you review the footage)
• Royalty-free dramatic music track(s) properly mixed to dialogue and ambient sound
• At least two creative time-lapse segments and several impactful slow-motion shots
• Any third-party B-roll you source, licensed for YouTube use
• Final export in 4K MP4 + original project file
I’m happy to share a preview drive so you can assess the clips and propose an outline before diving into the full edit. If this fits your style, let’s make Mauritius look as breathtaking on screen as it was in person.
