I am applying for an Australian Partner Visa, and I require some professional or NAATI-certified translations of supporting documents, from Simplified Chinese into English.
Could you please provide a quote and estimated turnaround time for the following documents, and tell me if you offer a "package deal", bundle or volume discount for migration packages.
Standard Chinese Government Forms (need full translation):
1 Marriage certificate [standard red booklet]
2 National identity cards, for me and my daughter
2 National Police clearance certificates, for me and my daughter
1 Birth certificate, for my daughter only
1 Divorce certificate
1 Household register (Hukou) booklet
1 Police Temporary Residence Registration Form (境外人员临时住宿登记表) for my husband [standard 1-page form]
All the above are standard Chinese official documents and have the usual format.
Other Documents (need only an extract translation or summary translation):
1 Household Electricity Bill [I only need translation for the heading, 2 names, address, and date]
Invoices from 2 hotels [these have been combined into a one-page Word document and they only need an extract or summary translation to confirm that they are hotel invoices with both our names].
I can send you scanned copies of all the documents by email, if the translations can be returned to me by email as .pdf files. To save time and reduce your workload, my husband could proof-read all translations carefully; English is his first language.
I am most concerned about the total cost of translation, but please provide a short summary of your qualifications and experience in translating from Chinese into English, especially for these kinds of official documents. If you have a NAATI qualification, please send me your NAATI practitioner ID.
