I’m creating a live-action cinematic shot that calls for big, believable pyrotechnics. What I need are production-ready fire and explosion simulations—no final composited renders, just the fully editable Blender or Houdini files so my team can light, re-time, and integrate them in post.

The sequence features several elements: towering fireballs that roll into thick smoke plumes, controlled flames engulfing a vehicle and a portion of building façade, plus secondary details like sparks, drifting embers, and debris bursts. Real-world scale, convincing pressure, and natural dissipation are critical because the effects will sit right next to practical plates.

You’re free to work in either Blender Mantaflow or Houdini Pyro/Sparse Pyro. As long as the caches and node networks are cleanly organised, parameterised, and clearly labelled, I can take it from there.

Deliverables
• Editable simulation file (.blend or .hip) with all caches linked or packed
• Quick playblast or OpenGL preview for timing reference

I’ll review on the basis of realism, continuity between the three effect types, and how easily the scene can be tweaked on my side. If this sounds like your specialty, let’s talk timing and shot specifics right away.
