Bilingual AI Telegram Automation Bot

I need a Telegram AI agent that can chat and automate simple actions in both English and Spanish. The core idea is to give my followers fast, natural replies while also freeing me from repetitive tasks inside the app.

Because I want to open doors for fresh talent, this job is reserved for new freelancers based anywhere in Latin America. If that fits you, read on.

Scope of work
You will design, code, and deploy the bot on my Telegram account. It must:
• Detect whether the user writes in English or Spanish and respond in the same language.
• Offer conversational answers powered by an LLM such as OpenAI or a comparable model I can self-host.
• Handle basic automation triggers we define together (welcoming new members, forwarding leads, simple keyword actions, etc.).
• Allow me to expand its knowledge or commands later without rewriting the whole codebase.

I am comfortable with Python (aiogram or python-telegram-bot) or Node.js (Telegraf). Feel free to propose another mainstream stack if you can keep deployment simple—Docker or a light VPS setup is fine by me.

Deliverables
1. Clean, well-commented source code in a private repo
2. Deployment guide that works on Ubuntu 22.04
3. Short Loom or screen-recording demo showing the bot live in both languages
4. One-week post-delivery support for bug fixes

Acceptance criteria
• The bot installs with a single script or Docker compose.
• It answers test prompts in English and Spanish correctly at least 95 % of the time.
• All credentials and API keys are loaded from environment variables, never hard-coded.
