I need to fix the antenna connection trace on a small modem board that uses a BC660K.
Band 28 (700 to 800MHz) straight to a uFL connector. No filters, tuning stubs, or additional components are required—just a clean 50 Ω trace and the connector footprint.
Key parameters I must hit:
• Trace is for a short cable to an external antenna, so keep the run as direct as possible and maintain controlled impedance.
• The stack-up will be JLCPCB’s 4-layer, 1.6 mm FR-4 option. Please work within their standard prepregs and copper weights.
• Only Band 28 (≈700 MHz) is in scope, so length matching to other bands is not needed.
Deliverables
1. Fixed trace on the board
Acceptance criteria
• 50 Ω trace verified by your chosen CAD’s impedance calculator for the specified stack-up.
If you’ve done RF breakouts or antenna feed boards before, this should be quick. Let me know which CAD package you’ll use and roughly how soon you can turn the files around.
