Automated Videographer Hiring Platform

I’m building a web-based platform that lets businesses instantly secure the right videographer for any project—whether that’s full-scale event coverage, polished marketing spots, or simply turning raw footage into a finished edit. The system will rely on job-detail matching to pair each request with the best-suited professional, removing the need for manual browsing or proposal chasing.

Core workflow
• A business fills out a brief describing the event or marketing goal.
• The platform’s matching engine recommends available videographers who fit the brief.
• The client confirms, pays, and tracks progress through their dashboard.
• Once the shoot or edit is complete, final files are delivered and rated.

To make this run smoothly I need five tightly integrated modules:

1. User (Business) Portal – guided job form, booking calendar, payment checkout, project tracking, review system.
2. Videographer Portal – profile builder, availability management, project inbox, file upload, earnings dashboard.
3. Public Website – marketing pages, SEO-ready blog, sign-up flows, responsive design.
4. Backend & Support – matching algorithm, notifications (email/SMS/push), secure payment gateway integration, help-desk ticketing.
5. Admin Console – user management, role and permission control, dispute handling, analytics.

Deliverables will include:
• Fully functioning web app (frontend and backend) with source code in a Git repository.
• Database schema and initial seed data.
• Deployment scripts or documentation for cloud hosting.
• Brief user and admin manuals.
• Two-week post-launch bug-fix window.

Acceptance criteria
• Event, marketing, and editing requests can all be submitted and matched without error.
• Payments process successfully in sandbox and live modes.
• Average match time under five seconds on a test dataset of 100 videographers.
• Frontend passes Lighthouse performance score of 85+ on mobile.
