asteria - Android Prototype (milestone 1)

Godot Developer Needed – Asteria 2D Android Prototype (Milestone 1)

I am developing a 2D online multiplayer Guild Management RPG called Asteria. This is an early prototype, NOT the final game.

Engine: Godot 4.x
Platform: Android
Visual: 2D pixel art / simple placeholder assets
Perspective: Top-down

Milestone 1 scope:

- 1 Guild Hall
- Minimum 2 floors
- Functional stairs between floors
- Guildmaster/player character can move
- Touchscreen controls for Android
- Top-down camera
- 3–5 NPCs
- NPCs can perform simple activities
- NPCs can move between rooms/floors
- Basic in-game time system
- 5 real-world hours = 1 Asteria day
- Basic UI
- Well-structured Godot project
- Exported Android APK for testing

NOT required for Milestone 1:
- Multiplayer
- Combat
- Dungeon
- Generative AI / LLM
- Free-text NPC conversation
- Full quest system
- Recruitment system
- Full personality/relationship system
- Permadeath
- Full economy
- Kingdom events

Important requirements:

- Must use Godot 4.x and GDScript.
- Source code and the complete Godot project must be delivered.
- Third-party assets must be disclosed with their source and license.
- The project should be structured so it can be expanded in future milestones.
- Must be willing to work using milestones.

2. Previous 2D game development experience.
3. Android game development experience.
4. NPC/gameplay programming experience.
5. Estimated price for Milestone 1.
6. Estimated completion time.
7. Confirmation that the complete Godot project/source code will be delivered.
8. Confirmation that you can provide an Android APK for testing.

I will select based on experience, portfolio, understanding of the requirements, communication, and price — not simply the lowest bid.
