Project Title: AI-Powered Vehicle Shipping Platform for U.S. to Latin America

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or development team to build a modern vehicle shipping platform for D AND J SHIPPING INC.

Our company specializes in exporting vehicles from the United States, mainly from Miami, to Latin America. We want to transform the traditional shipping process into a fully digital platform where customers can quote, book, upload documents, make payments, communicate with an AI assistant, and track their vehicles online.

This is NOT a basic informational website.

The platform must include:

1. Instant Shipping Quote System

* Customer selects destination country.
* Customer enters VIN or vehicle information.
* System identifies vehicle category.
* Quote changes according to vehicle type, destination, pickup location, and shipping rules.
* Support different payment structures by country.
* Example: some destinations may allow ocean freight to be paid at destination while other charges are paid in the U.S.

2. AI Shipping Assistant

* AI chatbot trained on our company rules, rates, schedules, documentation requirements, vehicle restrictions, and shipping procedures.
* Customer should be able to ask questions naturally.
* Example: “I have a 2022 Toyota Highlander in Orlando and want to ship it to Dominican Republic.”
* AI should guide the customer through quote, documents, booking, and next steps.

3. VIN Decoder

* Automatically retrieve year, make, model, and vehicle details from VIN.

4. Customer Dashboard
Customers should be able to:

* View vehicles
* View quotes
* Create bookings
* Upload title, bill of sale, ID, and other documents
* View payment status
* View shipping status
* Download documents/invoices
* Receive notifications

5. Vehicle Tracking
Custom tracking stages such as:

* Booking created
* Vehicle received
* Documents pending
* Documents approved
* Customs submitted
* Ready to load
* Loaded
* Vessel departed
* In transit
* Arrived at destination

6. Sailing Schedule

* Upcoming vessels
* Customs cutoff dates
* Departure dates
* Estimated arrival dates
* Destination/port
* Admin must be able to update schedules easily.

7. Online Payments

* Stripe or similar payment processor
* Card payments for applicable charges
* ACH/bank transfer options if possible
* Ability to separate charges payable in the U.S. from charges payable at destination
* Payment status and receipts

8. Admin Dashboard
Our staff must be able to:

* Manage customers
* Manage vehicles
* Manage bookings
* Manage pricing
* Manage destination-country rules
* Manage shipping schedules
* Upload vehicle photos
* Review documents
* Update tracking status
* View payments
* Send notifications
* Manage AI knowledge/rules

9. Multi-Country Architecture
The platform must be designed so we can add multiple Latin American countries over time.

Each country may have different:

* Rates
* Ports
* Payment rules
* Documentation
* Vehicle restrictions
* Shipping schedules

10. Mobile-First Design
The majority of our customers will use mobile phones, so the platform must work extremely well on iPhone and Android.

Design Style:
Modern, clean, premium, professional, simple to use.

We do not want a traditional freight-forwarder website.

We want the experience to feel more like a modern technology platform.
