I’m expanding a non-fiction manuscript that dives deep into AI ethics and policy and I need an AI expert to help turn the concept into a polished, publication-ready book. Your role will blend subject-matter insight with strong authoring skills, shaping readable, evidence-based chapters that speak to policymakers, business leaders, and curious general readers alike.
I have a broad outline plus scattered research notes; what’s missing is the coherent, engaging narrative and the professional finish that makes a title bookstore-ready. Along the way we’ll need thoughtful ghostwriting, critical editing for flow and accuracy, and final interior layout that looks great on both print-on-demand platforms and major e-book stores.
Deliverables
• Ghost-written or heavily rewritten chapters (approx. 55-60k words in total) grounded in current scholarship and real-world case studies
• Developmental and line edits ensuring clarity, factual accuracy, and consistent voice
• Professionally formatted interior files (Word/InDesign or equivalent) ready for KDP and IngramSpark upload, plus an EPUB variant for Apple Books and Kobo
• A short, citation-style reference section and permissions check for any images or figures
Acceptance criteria: clean, error-free prose; citations that withstand fact-checking; and layout files that meet the technical requirements of the major self-publishing platforms on first submission.
If you have published or co-authored titles on AI ethics, governance, or policy, I’d love to see them. Let’s create a definitive, accessible guide that helps readers navigate the complex moral landscape of artificial intelligence.
