WordPress + AI Website Automation Developer
We are rebuilding Strengthscape.com on WordPress and want to automate the repetitive development process rather than manually create and update hundreds of pages.
We already have the website architecture, page templates, design system, URL inventory, SEO/link-preservation rules and content-generation framework. The rebuild is being done on a staging website first, with approved pages moved to production after review.
We need a developer to create a simple automated workflow that can take an approved page brief/content package, generate or receive structured page content through the OpenAI API, and place it into the correct reusable WordPress template/components.
The project should cover:
Build the reusable WordPress components/shortcodes required for the approved templates.
Connect WordPress staging with the OpenAI API and our structured page data.
Read an existing WordPress page before rewriting it and retain the same URL wherever required.
Create/update the page automatically on staging rather than through manual copy-paste.
Preserve URLs, internal links, canonicals and existing SEO value.
Save the old page before replacing it so it can be restored.
Run simple automated checks for broken links, H1, canonical, staging URLs and obvious rendering problems.
Keep every generated page in staging/draft until we approve it.
Once the process works on one page, extend it to batches.
Important: The developer will not receive access to current client projects, confidential client information, Google Drive or internal project files. Any Strengthscape proof/evidence used on the website will come only from material we specifically approve for marketing use or from structured interviews with us. The AI/developer should never independently search our internal drives for evidence.
The goal is straightforward:
Page data → AI-assisted content → WordPress components → staging → review → approval → live.
We are looking for someone experienced with WordPress, REST API, PHP, Python/Node, OpenAI API, JSON and basic technical SEO.
The first milestone will be one complete test page from existing WordPress page → automated rewrite → staging page → QA → rollback.
