I need a physics-driven character controller in Roblox that feels as fluid and satisfying as the Biped games. My first priority is silky-smooth, responsive movement; I want players to feel weight, momentum and impact without ever noticing input lag or jitter. The controller must cover jumping and landing, walking and running, plus seamless transitions into climbing and sliding so the avatar always looks grounded in the world.

Stable collisions are critical. Whether the character is rolling down a slope, bouncing off props or interacting with other players, the physics should never explode or stutter. All logic has to be network-safe: predictable server authority, client-side prediction where it helps, and smooth replication so two players see the exact same pose at the same time.

Please structure everything as clean, reusable Lua modules that I can drop into a larger project. Feel free to lean on Roblox’s PhysicsService, custom constraints, or any lightweight CFrame math so long as the end result runs comfortably with several characters on screen.

Deliverables (all committed to Git or a Roblox place file):
• Modular movement and input scripts covering walk/run, jump/land, climb/slide
• Robust collision-handling layer that keeps the avatar stable at varied frame rates
• Network replication logic with clear client/server separation and interpolation
• Natural ragdoll mode that activates on demand and respects the same collision rules
• Short documentation outlining public APIs, required asset setup and extension points

I will test by spawning multiple clients in an empty baseplate and timing motion, packet stutter and collision response. If the movement feels tight and stays under 5 ms per frame with four players, we’re good to go.
