Adult Reading Worksheet Creation

I’m assembling a fresh series of reading worksheets for teen and adult English learners who want to boost their overall comprehension skills. Each worksheet should centre on everyday life and personal-story themes—think relatable situations, engaging narratives and characters that feel authentic to learners aged 15 and up.

Here’s how I picture the materials:
• One concise passage per worksheet (300–450 words) written in clear, contemporary English.
• A mix of comprehension tasks right after the text: multiple-choice, short answer and one or two open-ended discussion prompts to encourage deeper thinking.
• Light vocabulary and phrase focus drawn directly from the passage to reinforce context.
• An answer key on a separate page.

Formatting matters: keep the layout clean, visually balanced and printer-friendly. I’ll need both an editable file (Word or Google Docs) and a ready-to-print PDF for each worksheet. Consistent styling across the set is essential so teachers can slot the pages into lesson plans without extra tweaking.
