I want a fully-automated cryptocurrency bot that trades around the clock on the spot market only. Because I do not have a pre-existing system, you will be designing and coding a brand-new strategy whose sole purpose is steady, lower-risk growth—no futures, no leverage, just disciplined buying and selling of regular coins.

What I need from you
• Craft a rules-based or algorithmic strategy that prioritises capital preservation and consistent gains.
• Implement it in a language and framework suited to production use (Python ccxt, Node, Rust, etc.—I’m flexible as long as it is well-supported and maintainable).
• Integrate securely with major exchanges such as Binance, Kraken, or Coinbase via API.
• Build in risk controls: position sizing, maximum daily drawdown limits, stop-loss logic, and configurable trade filters.
• Provide thorough back-testing with clear performance metrics and a short write-up that justifies the strategy’s risk profile.
• Deliver clean, well-commented source code plus a README that explains setup, environment variables, and how to deploy so the bot can run 24/7 on a VPS or cloud instance.
• Offer at least one live test session to verify everything works with real-time market data.

Acceptance criteria
1. Back-test report shows lower drawdowns and a positive return over multiple market conditions.
2. Live demo executes spot trades automatically without manual intervention.
3. All configuration items—including API keys and risk parameters—are externally editable.
4. Full source code and documentation are handed over so I can run, modify, or extend the bot independently.

If you have questions about exchange choice, preferred languages, or hosting, let me know—otherwise I’m ready to review your proposed approach and timeline.
