" Anywhere in U.S "Clarapath is looking for a Test Software Engineer who will assist in the development of test automation software. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing our software test suite, which will be used of inhouse and manufacturing product testing. The candidate will also collaborate with other engineering groups such as mechanical, electrical and optics to gather test software requirements, and provide software tools for streamlining product development. Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management. • Develop test automation software, to perform regression testing on production software. • Develop manufacturing test software. • Work with ME and EE teams, to develop custom software for hardware component testing. • Responsible for functional test planning and execution. " "• • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the industry • Formal software documentation experience preferably in medical device development area • Ability to work in a LINUX environment. • Familiarity working with Confluence, Jira and BitBucket • Good foundation in TCP/IP protocol stack. • Knowledge of hardware communication interfaces such as Ethernet, Serial, SPI, I2C. • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS • Experience working with robotics platforms such as ROS or YARP is a plus. • Interfacing to Clinical Lab Information Systems. • Histology laboratory workflow experience. MUST HAVE • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the industry • Formal software documentation experience preferably in medical device development area • Ability to work in a LINUX environment. • Familiarity working with Confluence, Jira and BitBucket • Good foundation in TCP/IP protocol stack.
