U.S. engineering firm (BIM/MEP services for mechanical contractors) seeks a WordPress + Elementor specialist for defined, verifiable improvements to an existing ~25-page site.
Phase 1 scope (14 items): fix 17 internal 404s from a supplied list, resolve orphan pages, single H1 sitewide, consolidate two duplicate blog posts with 301s, fix http/www internal links, image alt text sweep, OG defaults, rebuild two hub pages as card grids, About page rewrite (copy supplied), Testimonials intro text (copy supplied). Every item has an acceptance criterion verified by Ahrefs re-crawl. All copy and URL lists are in the attached document - nothing is waiting on the client.
This is Phase 1 of 3. The contractor who completes it to acceptance will be offered the remaining phases without re-bid.
NOT included and will be rejected: link building, directory submissions, backlink packages, off-site SEO.
Access: WordPress Editor role, GA4 Viewer, GSC Restricted. No hosting/cPanel/FTP access. No shared passwords.
To bid: state your fixed price, link two live Elementor sites you built, and answer this question: A WordPress page is set as a child of another page, and the parent is later removed from the menu. What happens to the child page's URL, and how would you prevent that from breaking internal links?
Proposals that do not answer the question will not be read.
