WordPress Temporary Redirect Setup

I need a clean, reversible way to send traffic from my current WordPress site to another destination without harming SEO or breaking internal links. The redirect must be temporary (302 or 307—happy to follow your recommendation) and easy for me to turn off when the campaign ends.

Scope
• Analyse the existing hosting stack (Apache . htaccess, Nginx rules, or any caching/CDN layers) and choose the safest redirect method—native server rule, functions.php snippet, or a reputable plugin.
• Map the redirects I specify—this may be the whole site, a handful of pages, or “all except X.” I’ll supply the final list before you begin.
• Configure the rules, test them on desktop and mobile, and confirm they return the correct temporary status code.
• Provide a short guide or screen-share showing me where the rules live so I can disable them later.

Acceptance criteria
• Every URL in scope responds with the agreed 302/307 code and lands on the correct destination.
• No redirect loops, mixed-content warnings, or caching conflicts.
• Site performance remains unaffected.
