I need a WooCommerce add-on (or custom code) that lets shoppers quickly drill down to the exact model they need, then compare options side by side.
Core requirements
• Smart search & filter: shoppers must be able to enter or pick tire size, vehicle type, and instantly narrow results. The filter has to include the three primary categories—Summer tires, Winter tires, and All-season tires.
• Comparison view: once results appear, the customer selects two or more products and sees a clean table comparing price and every key attribute we store (dimensions, speed rating, load index, brand features, etc.). The layout should be mobile-friendly and update automatically if prices change.
• Admin flexibility: I have to manage all of this inside the normal WooCommerce product editor—no duplicate data entry. If I add a new attribute later, it should appear in the comparison chart without extra coding.
• Performance: filtering can’t slow the site; cached or AJAX-based results preferred.
• Styling: match the existing theme; keep it lightweight so we can adjust colors and fonts with simple CSS.
Acceptance criteria
1. A visitor can filter by size, vehicle type, and the three seasonal categories and immediately see matching products.
2. Selecting at least two tires reveals a comparison table that lists price and every stored attribute.
3. The feature works on desktop and mobile, loads in under two seconds on a typical 4G connection.
4. All code is delivered as a child-theme function, custom plugin, or documented snippets ready for version-controlled deployment.
