Build a members-only community website on Wix (India): verified signup, paid events, CMS archive
I'm a community organizer and am building a hyperlocal community for women. I'm not a developer, but I've researched this build in detail and know what I want. I'm looking for an experienced Wix developer to build the MVP rapidly, inside my own Wix account, and hand it over so I can run and edit everything myself. Phase 2 will expand on the community features.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD (Wix classic Editor, Core plan)
- Public site with three tabs (Home, Then, Now), Log in and Apply top right, plus a members-only layer (full site content only post login)
- Onboarding: pincode check for residency in pilot areas (some restrictions for others), custom signup form, email verification, mobile OTP via MSG91 ( Airtel DLT account is ready), manual approval by admin (ID verification is the top priority)
- Paid events via Wix Events with Razorpay (KYC donne)
- CMS collection/archive of about 150 past events with dynamic pages and a year-by-year timeline, blogs and upcoming events
- Automations: admin alerts, welcome, re-engage onboarding drop-offs, event reminders, newsletter, surveys and polls among members
- wix groups - available only post-login
- Data ownership: everything backed up to my Google Sheet, plus a monthly export routine
- Privacy first: private member profiles, no content leaking through direct links, policy pages
- Structured so paid memberships and restricted access groups can be added later without rework + member activity linked to profile (gearing up for phase 2)
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Live Wix sites you built, prefer experience with Members Area and Events
- Experience connecting Indian payment gateways on Wix
- Zapier and Fillout experience; MSG91 and DLT experience is a big plus
- A native-Wix-first approach, with any custom code kept absolute minimal and documented
DELIVERABLES: working site, recorded handover session, written admin guide, test report, post-launch support, capabilities for Phase 2 execution
