Whimsical Logo Design for Stay Weird Crochet

I’m looking for an illustrator or designer to create a new logo for my small fiber arts business, Stay Weird Crochet.

My overall aesthetic is whimsical, nature-inspired, cottagecore, and a little bit magical. I create handmade crochet and needle-felted pieces inspired by nature, woodland creatures, mushrooms, and other magical little creatures. Mushrooms are a particularly big part of my work and would be great as a focal element in the logo.

I’m especially drawn to a circular or somewhat circular composition, as I’d like the logo to work well as a social media profile image, stickers, business cards, and other branding materials. I could envision a mushroom as the central focal point, with foliage, vines, leaves, moss, or other natural elements framing the design and helping create that circular shape.

For the color palette, I’m envisioning a dark or earthy background with pops of natural color, such as forest greens, browns, muted purples, mushroom reds, and warm earthy tones. I’m not looking for anything overly bright or polished in a corporate sense. I want it to feel organic, cozy, handmade, and a little enchanted.

Stylistically, I love the look of hand-drawn or hand-painted illustrations, almost like a vintage botanical or children’s storybook illustration, with a watercolor or traditional-art feel. I want the illustration to have personality and whimsy rather than looking overly digital or generic.

The business name should be incorporated into the design, with “Stay Weird” being the prominent text and “Crochet” underneath. The phrase “Stay Weird” has become a recognizable part of my brand over the years. People frequently comment on and remember the name, so I’d really like it to stand out.

I’m open to the illustrator’s creative interpretation of the concept. I don’t necessarily need every element mentioned above included. The most important things are that the finished logo feels:
