Weekly Open Dental Insurance Verification

Each week I need every new appointment checked for active private insurance coverage and then entered into my Open Dental practice-management database. You will pull eligibility, annual maximums, remaining benefits, frequencies, waiting periods, and downgrades—whatever the carrier makes available—by phone or through their online portals.

Please record the breakdown in Open Dental strictly through the predefined forms and templates I have set up so everything shows up correctly for the front desk and treatment-planning team. Accuracy is critical; anything unclear must be flagged so I can follow up the same day.

Deliverables
• Verified eligibility and benefits for all scheduled patients for the upcoming week
• Completed Open Dental insurance entries using my templates, free of typos or missing fields
• Brief note in the patient’s comm-log when a call was required or information was incomplete

I will provide remote access to Open Dental, carrier contact lists, and a quick video walkthrough of my template workflow. Familiarity with dental terminology, common PPO benefit structures, and HIPAA-compliant data handling is expected so we can hit the ground running.
