My site needs a thorough technical once-over so it can climb higher on Google. I’ve handled the content and basic on-page tweaks, but deeper issues—speed bottlenecks, crawl errors, schema, indexing quirks—are holding the pages back. Your job is to identify every technical obstacle and fix it, leaving the site lean, compliant, and ready for Google’s next crawl.
Scope of work
• Run a complete technical audit (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, index status, structured data, XML sitemap, robots.txt, duplicate content, broken links, HTTPS, redirects).
• Implement all viable fixes or clearly flag anything that must be handled outside the CMS or hosting environment.
• Re-test and document the improvements so I can see before/after metrics inside Search Console or any other tooling you use (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, GTmetrix, Lighthouse—your call).
Acceptance criteria
• No critical errors or warnings in Google Search Console.
• CWV scores in the green for desktop and passing on mobile.
• Valid XML sitemap auto-updated and submitted.
• Robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data, and redirects validated.
• A short hand-over report summarizing what was fixed, what remains optional, and recommended next steps.
Please include a brief note on similar technical cleanups you’ve completed and the main tools you rely on. I’m ready to get started as soon as I’ve reviewed your approach.
