I need a small, self-contained chat widget that visitors can open on my website to receive instant customer-support replies. For now the bot only has to match incoming questions to a set of simple, pre-defined answers that I will provide as a CSV or JSON file. No deep context tracking or language modelling is required—speed, reliability, and easy upkeep matter more than advanced AI.
Here is what I expect:
• A lightweight front-end widget styled to fit the site’s colours and fonts.
• Back-end logic (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or PHP—whichever you prefer) that reads the FAQ list and returns the mapped reply.
• A fallback response when a question is not recognised, plus a way for me to update the answer file without touching code.
• Clear instructions for embedding the widget on any HTML page and for updating the response list.
Please keep external dependencies minimal; if you need a small library for the UI that is fine, but avoid heavyweight frameworks. Once everything is working on your demo page, I will test it on my server and release final approval.
