Web WhatsApp Automation & Chatbot

I want a web-based platform that lets any user connect their own WhatsApp number simply by scanning the standard QR code (the same flow WhatsApp Web uses). Once paired, the account should stay active in the cloud so the user can keep sending and receiving without keeping a browser open locally.

Inside the app, two core modules are required:

1. Chatbot
The built-in bot must be able to respond to common questions, automate day-to-day customer support, and guide users through multi-step processes. I should be able to create rule-based flows now and, if I decide later, swap in an NLP engine without major refactoring. Messages handled by the bot need to be logged and clearly tagged so the user can jump into any conversation when human intervention is needed.

2. Bulk Messaging
Users will upload or paste contact lists, choose from reusable message templates, personalise each send with merge fields (name, order number, etc.), and set a schedule—down to minute precision—before launching a campaign. The system must track how many messages each account has sent and automatically cap the free tier at 500 unique messages per day, prompting an upgrade when the limit is reached. Higher plans simply lift that ceiling, so the architecture has to store per-plan quotas and check them in real time.

Core expectations and deliverables
• Responsive web app (desktop and mobile)
• Secure session handling for the QR-based login
• Dashboard showing live conversations, campaign stats, quota usage, and billing status
• REST or GraphQL API endpoints for future integrations
• Clear deployment instructions (Docker-compose or similar) plus a brief admin manual

Once the system passes functional tests—sending 500 personalised messages in a day without bans and handling at least 20 simultaneous chatbot conversations—the project will be considered complete.
