I need two existing free-standing partitions taken down and hauled away to create a larger space. Then, three new stud walls need to be framed to create a 10' × 10' office and a 14' × 18' boardroom. Once framed, the walls should be drywalled, taped, and finished to a smooth surface, ready for primer and paint. If the freelancer is skilled in painting, additional projects will be available.
Key expectations:
• Demolish and dispose of the two current partitions without disturbing adjacent structures.
• Frame three new walls to the specified dimensions, plumb and square.
• Install drywall, apply joint compound, sand to a smooth finish, and prime.
• Apply final paint coats if capable.
• Maintain a tidy work area and protect existing flooring throughout the process.
Additional work:
• Minor drywall repairs and painting at another location being sold.
I’ll handle any required permits; you provide labor, materials, and tools. Timing is flexible but I’d like the project wrapped up within two weeks once started.
