I’m starting with a clean slate on two compactors—a pedestrian walk-behind roller and a small ride-on roller—and I need the full detailed design package that will take them from concept to shop-floor readiness.

Your task is to translate high-level performance goals and dimensional targets into complete engineering documentation. That includes 3D CAD models, fully annotated manufacturing drawings, a bill of materials with spec’d components, and any supporting calculations or finite-element checks needed to demonstrate structural integrity, vibration control, and operator safety. By the end of the engagement I want a set of files that a fabricator can quote and a prototype team can build without guesswork.

I’ll supply target drum widths, power ratings, and regulatory requirements as soon as we kick off; everything else—mechanical layout, chassis design, hydraulic integration, controls positioning—will come from your expertise. Proven experience designing light construction equipment or similar off-highway machinery is essential because I need practical, production-ready solutions, not just attractive renderings.

If you can deliver the full specification set and are comfortable collaborating on reviews as the design matures, let’s get started.
