Hi! I'm looking for someone to create a **3–5 minute public service announcement (PSA) video**, although three minutes is perfectly fine.
The topic is **cultural competency in substance use disorder counseling and treatment**. I'd like it to cover things like avoiding stereotypes and assumptions, respecting different cultural backgrounds, recognizing personal biases, and how cultural competency helps build trust and improve treatment experiences.
I'm going for a **vintage 1980s/1990s PSA style**, similar to those old-school television commercials that were a little cheesy, dramatic, funny, and memorable, but still delivered an important message.
I'd like actual moving video footage, whether stock footage or realistic AI-generated clips, along with natural-sounding narration, background music, sound effects, vintage TV effects, and creative transitions. I want it to feel like an actual commercial, not a slideshow or PowerPoint.
I actually started creating a video myself in Canva, but I don't have much experience with video editing, and I'm not really happy with how it turned out or the overall feel of it. **I'm completely open to having the video recreated from scratch**, but I can upload what I've already made if it would help give you an idea of the content or what I'm trying to accomplish.
I can also provide a script and the main information I'd like included. I'm open to creative ideas and suggestions because I'd really like someone who can bring the concept to life.
It doesn't need to look like a big-budget production. I just want something fun, creative, nostalgic, and educational.
**Budget:** Ideally $50–$60 but am willing to negotiate.
**Deadline:** November 30.
Please let me know if this is something you could create, what your price would include, and whether you have any examples of similar videos you've made.
Thank you!
