Verbatim Letter Transcription

I have a single PDF that contains scanned pages of several handwritten letters. I need every page transcribed word-for-word into a typed document, preserving all original spelling, punctuation, line breaks and quirks exactly as they appear. Whenever a word or part of a word is truly unreadable, please insert “[illegible]” in its place so it is obvious to any future reader where the text could not be confirmed.

Deliverables:
• One editable text file (DOCX or Google Doc) that mirrors the letters page-by-page, using page breaks to keep the original pagination.
• A brief note at the end listing the total count of “[illegible]” tags you inserted, so I can cross-check quickly.

Accuracy is vital; no corrections or modernisation of the language should be made.
