US Local SEO Traffic Boost

My immediate objective is to drive substantially more local traffic to our company’s website in markets across the United States. Google is the sole search engine that matters for this engagement, so every tactic should be planned and measured with Google’s local algorithm in mind.

The work centres on three pillars that must operate in tandem:

• Google Business Profile optimisation – from correcting N-A-P data and refining categories to creating locally-targeted posts and leveraging every feature Google offers for higher map-pack visibility.
• Local backlink building – securing placements on authoritative, region-specific sites, local news outlets, industry directories, and community resources that strengthen geo-relevance.
• Review generation – implementing a compliant strategy that consistently attracts genuine, high-quality Google reviews and showcases them on our site for extra social proof.

Acceptance criteria
1. Month-over-month growth in Google Search Console for impressions and clicks from targeted locales.
2. Improved map-pack ranking for our priority keywords in at least five key metros, measured via a trusted tracking tool.
3. Net increase in Google review volume and average rating.

Access to our existing Google Business Profile, website CMS, and analytics will be provided on kickoff. Clear, concise progress reporting is expected so I can see how each activity moves the needle on local traffic.
