US Healthcare Compliance Policy Draft

I run a health-care service in the United States called IN HOME HEALTHCARE AGENCY, providing non-medical services using caregivers. I need a formally written policy that aligns every aspect of our operation with current federal and state laws as well as licensing standards. The focus is full compliance—not only with headline statutes such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute, but also with the day-to-day regulations issued by CMS, OSHA, our state Department of Health, and specifically the Oregon State Health Plan.

I’d like the policy to read clearly for staff yet stand up to legal scrutiny should regulators ever review it. That means spelling out how we obtain and maintain licenses, the procedures we follow for patient intake, record retention, infection control, telehealth, staffing qualifications, incident reporting, and any other mandates that apply to an outpatient health-care business.
