I am turning my Christian website into an official U.S. nonprofit and need a specialist who can handle two tightly linked tasks:
First, I want the “filing tax-exemption paperwork” phase completed correctly. That means preparing and submitting the IRS Form 1023 (or 1023-EZ if it proves appropriate), gathering the required supporting documents—mission statement, bylaws, financial projections—and steering everything through to an approval letter. State-level filings with our secretary of state and any Charitable Solicitation Registration must be folded in so there are no loose ends.
Second, the site hosts sermons, devotionals, and worship music that I authored. I need those originals formally copyrighted. You will register each work with the U.S. Copyright Office, compile the deposit copies, and return filing receipts that I can archive.
Please outline:
• Estimated timeline for both filings
• Any documents you will need from me up front
• How you will keep me updated as submissions move through IRS and Copyright Office review
Acceptance criteria: IRS determination letter in hand, state and federal filings complete, and individual copyright registration certificates issued for all submitted works.
