URGENT: QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper (Australian) – Build New QBO File from Source Records (Screen Share Sessions)

NOTE: This work will be completed together over Zoom/Google Meet using screen sharing. I expect to work alongside you during the initial setup and for complex accounting decisions.

About the Project
I am rebuilding the accounting records for an Australian company (Clue Group Pty Ltd) into a completely new QuickBooks Online file.

The new QBO file is being built from source records using an approved accounting design. The previous QuickBooks file is used only as a historical reference where required.The objective is to produce a fully reconciled, accountant-ready file that can be relied upon going forward.

What Has Already Been Completed
The accounting design has largely been completed, including:
* Chart of Accounts
* Account structure
* Investment account structure
* Historical migration plan
* Accounting procedures
* Transaction Classification Library (being expanded throughout the project)

The successful applicant will work within this framework rather than redesigning it.

Scope of Work
Working together via screen share, you will assist with:
* Setting up the new QuickBooks Online file correctly
* Reviewing the Chart of Accounts and account setup
* Configuring GST and company settings
* Setting up bank, credit card and investment accounts
* Reviewing and importing approved suppliers and Products & Services
* Entering and verifying opening balances
* Importing and categorising historical transactions (FY2019 onwards)
* Reconciling bank, credit card, PayPal, Wise, Saxo and Swyftx accounts
* Ensuring every transaction follows the approved Transaction Classification Library
* Identifying transactions requiring clarification instead of guessing
* Correcting transactions rather than using balancing journal entries
* Assisting with BAS review and GST coding
* Assisting with payroll setup (if required)
* Helping prepare an accountant-ready file and supporting reports

Important Requirements
You must be comfortable working with:
* QuickBooks Online
* Australian bookkeeping
* GST and BAS
* Bank reconciliations
* Historical bookkeeping
* Share trading and investment accounts
* Cryptocurrency transactions (Swyftx experience is highly desirable)
* Multi-year accounting projects

Experience working with Australian accountants or CPA firms is highly preferred.

How We Will Work
This is a collaborative project.
Rather than completing work independently, we will often work together over screen share while discussing accounting treatment and reviewing transactions.

If an accounting treatment is uncertain, I expect you to stop and ask rather than make assumptions. Accuracy is far more important than speed.

Deliverables
The successful candidate will help produce:
* A fully reconciled QuickBooks Online file
* Reconciled bank, credit card and investment accounts
* Correct GST coding throughout the file
* Accountant-ready Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance reports
* BAS support reports
* Supporting reconciliations for loan accounts, investments and cryptocurrency
* Documentation of any unresolved issues requiring accountant review
