My Android mobile app’s Home screen is misbehaving: the view stops refreshing after the first load and several buttons that should lead to other parts of the app no longer respond. I need someone to dive into the existing codebase, pinpoint the root cause, and push a clean, well-tested fix right away so users can interact with the Home screen normally again.
You will receive the full Android Studio project as soon as we start. After investigating, I expect you to update the code, test across common Android OS versions, and supply both an installable APK and the changed source so I can merge it back into the main repository.
Acceptance will be based on:
• Home screen refreshes consistently without manual intervention.
• All previously unresponsive options are fully clickable and route correctly.
• No new crashes or regressions appear elsewhere in the app.
If you have solid experience debugging native Android apps (Java or Kotlin) and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started.
