I’m building a fast-paced hack-and-slash in Unreal Engine 5 and need a partner who can take my reference videos and turn them into fully integrated gameplay animations. The work covers three areas:

• Character movements – locomotion, dodge, jump, climb and any other traversal that makes combat feel fluid.
• Attack effects – light and heavy combos, airborne strings, hit-reactions, special finishers and VFX-ready sockets.
• Environmental interactions – breakables, doors, levers, context-sensitive vaults, and anything else the level throws at player characters, enemies and NPCs.

Once the keyframes are in place, I also need the code that makes everything play in game. Whether you prefer C++ or Blueprint, set up the Animation Blueprints, State Machines, Blend Spaces, montages and notifies so that:

1. Player characters, enemies and NPCs all use the same locomotion core but branch cleanly into their unique combat trees.
2. Transitions are frame-accurate and interruption-safe, avoiding animation pop or input lag.
3. Exposed variables (stamina, weapon type, hit direction, etc.) drive the correct montage sections.
4. The system is commented and clean so my design team can expand it later.

I’ll provide camera-ready reference clips from similar titles plus timing notes for each move. Drop a short reel or playable sample that shows you’ve tackled action combat before, and tell me how you’d structure the folders/montages in UE5 so I can plug new animations in without breaking the state machine.
