I need a complete package of mechanical production drawings for a sub-base, double-wall diesel tank that will be certified to both UL 142 and ULC-S601. Your past experience with these two standards is essential—every detail must be ready for fabrication without a second round of interpretation on the shop floor.
Scope
The job covers the full drawing set: general arrangement, detailed views of shell, heads, baffles, saddles, lifting lugs, manways, nozzle schedules, weld symbols, bill of materials, and any required notes called out by the standards. No electrical schematics or plumbing layouts are required; I am strictly after mechanical drawings.
Key design features
• Double-wall construction with integral secondary containment
• Provisions for fuel supply/return, venting, overfill and leak detection that satisfy both UL 142 and ULC-S601 language
• Proper labeling, dimensional tolerances and weld call-outs that accelerate approvals
Deliverables
1. Fabrication-ready 2D drawings in DWG (AutoCAD 2018 or earlier) and PDF.
2. Editable 3D model (STEP or SolidWorks) to confirm clearances.
3. Compliance checklist cross-referencing drawing numbers to the relevant clauses of UL 142 and ULC-S601.
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions and weld symbols follow ANSI Y14.5 / AWS A2.4.
• File set passes my internal review for completeness and the third-party inspector’s first round without major comments.
• Lead time: first draft within one week, final issue after revisions no later than two weeks from award.
If you have recent tank projects stamped to these standards, let me know—seeing a sample PDF or redacted drawing index will help me move quickly in selecting the right partner.
