Two Youth Bedroom Makeovers

I’m refreshing two separate bedrooms and need a cohesive, space-smart design package I can hand straight to my carpenter and painter.

Bedroom 1 belongs to my 22-year-old daughter. She wants a clean Modern look in neutral tones. The layout must fit two 120 cm beds: one with a pull-out trundle underneath for guests and the other with one or two storage drawers. Please weave in generous cupboard space without overwhelming the room, add night tables that match the modern mood, and position a full-length mirror where natural light can hit it.

Bedroom 2 is for my 24-year-old son. A queen bed with built-in drawers is mandatory, and his existing three-seater sofa-bed has to stay. I haven’t locked a style for this room yet, so feel free to pitch Modern, Industrial, Rustic—or a blend—so long as it sits well next to the first room. As with his sister’s space, I need plenty of cupboards and a well-placed mirror.
