Turkish Furniture Sourcing Researcher — Manufacturer Identification

I’m developing Home Glance, a UK-based furniture brand specialising in distinctive, artistic and beautifully designed sofas.

I’m looking for an experienced Turkish-speaking researcher or furniture sourcing specialist to identify reliable Turkish manufacturers whose collections align with our brand’s design direction.

What We’re Looking For

Our focus is on unique, artistic, design-led and visually striking sofas that stand apart from conventional contemporary furniture.

We’re particularly interested in manufacturers offering original, elegant, sculptural or architecturally distinctive designs, combining exceptional aesthetics with high-quality craftsmanship and competitive wholesale pricing.

I will provide reference images to illustrate the specific aesthetic and design direction we’re looking for. These references are intended as inspiration rather than exact products that must be found. We’re interested in discovering manufacturers with similarly distinctive and creative collections.

Your Responsibilities

* Research Turkish sofa manufacturers, particularly those based in established furniture manufacturing regions such as İnegöl, Kayseri and Istanbul.
* Identify manufacturers whose sofa designs closely align with the provided visual references.
* Locate official company websites, product catalogues and photographs of relevant designs.
* Find publicly available business WhatsApp numbers and email addresses.
* Determine whether each company manufactures its own furniture or operates as an intermediary, where verifiable.
* Identify evidence of international export capabilities, preferably including experience exporting to the UK.
* Gather available information about manufacturing quality, materials, craftsmanship and relevant certifications.

Required Deliverables

Please provide an organised Excel or Google Sheets spreadsheet containing:

1. Manufacturer name and location.
2. Official website.
3. Direct catalogue or product collection links.
4. Links to representative sofa designs matching the provided references.
5. Publicly available business WhatsApp number and email address.
6. Manufacturer or intermediary status, with supporting evidence where available.
7. Evidence of export capabilities and available quality information.
8. A brief explanation of why each manufacturer is suitable for Home Glance.

Quality and relevance are considerably more important than quantity. We’re looking for approximately 10–20 carefully researched manufacturers, not hundreds of generic furniture suppliers.

Ideal Candidate

* Fluent in Turkish, with good written English.
* Experienced in supplier research, sourcing or furniture manufacturing.
* Familiar with the Turkish furniture industry.
* Comfortable researching Turkish-language websites, catalogues and manufacturer directories.
* Able to recognise distinctive designs that match visual references rather than simply collecting generic furniture companies.

Project Structure

I’d like to begin with a small paid trial identifying five suitable manufacturers.

If the research meets our expectations, we’ll proceed with a larger shortlist of approximately 15–20 manufacturers.

I will handle contacting manufacturers and discussing potential partnerships myself. This project is specifically focused on identifying and researching suitable suppliers.
