I’m hosting a women's ski and winter apparel trunk show on Thursday, November 19 in Atherton, CA and need an upbeat sales assistant to help keep the event running smoothly from first guest to final sale.
You’ll be my right hand on the floor, welcoming shoppers with genuine warmth, guiding them through the racks, sharing product details, and making recommendations. Prior experience selling athleisure or boutique fashion items is helpful because visitors appreciate input on fit, fabrics, and pairings.
To give you a clear snapshot of what the day will look like:
• Greet guests and offer refreshments
• Help customers find styles or sizes and rehang garments after try-ons
• Write up or enter orders and process card payments (Square/iPad)
• Pack purchases, maintain an orderly display, and restock as needed
The setting is a private home and the customer flow unpredictable, so I value someone who can stay cheerful while juggling multiple duties and keeping the environment tidy.
The event is 9am to 6:30pm and you’ll have a short pre-show walkthrough so you can learn the line and pricing. Comfortable attire in neutral tones preferred; I’ll provide a name badge.
If you love skiing, thrive on customer interaction, and can commit to all or part of November 19 in Atherton, I’d love to hear about your relevant sales experience and confirm your availability.
