Transcribe Text From Scanned Images

I have a collection of text-heavy documents that were only saved as scanned images. I need every word carefully re-typed into an editable file so I can search, copy, and update the content later. Accuracy is more important than speed—spelling, punctuation, and paragraph breaks must match the originals.
You will receive the images in batches. For each batch, simply type what you see; no OCR tools are required or expected because the scans include marginal notes and unusual formatting that automated software often misreads. A clean Microsoft Word or Google Docs file is perfect—use whatever you’re most comfortable with, as long as the final text is copy-ready.
Deliverables
• One editable document per image (or a single combined file if that’s easier for you and keeps the order intact)
• Text that mirrors the original layout and line breaks where practical
• A quick note flagging any parts that are unclear or illegible
I’ll review each file as it comes in and confirm before we move to the next batch. Let me know your turnaround time for, say, the first ten pages so we can set a realistic schedule for the rest.
