Position: Mid Risk Analyst

About the Role:
The Risk Analyst will own day-to-day monitoring and configuration of trade risk, identify and action client abuse cases, manage LP relationships, and build data tooling to keep the risk framework sharp It is a technical, execution-focused role working directly in MT4/MT5 Administrator and Manager, writing Python and SQL daily, collaborating with Compliance, Tech, and senior risk leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and investigate abnormal trading patterns including latency arbitrage, rebate farming, and multi-account abuse
Build automated risk monitoring tools and dashboards using a preferred language with Python/SQL being the most desired toolset
Conduct client account reviews flagged for suspicious activity and prepare investigation summaries
Monitor live client positions, margin levels, and stop out events across all account groups
Manage and optimize group settings in MT4/5 including margin rules, leverage profiles, execution rules and basket margin configurations
Contribute to the design and documentation of risk policies and internal controls
Respond timely to management and support requests
Requirements:
2+ years in a dealing desk, risk, or back-office role at a retail or institutional FX/CFD broker
Hands-on experience with MT4 and MT5 Administrator and Manager — group configuration, symbol settings,
leverage rules, working with MT reports
Working knowledge of at least one liquidity bridge platform (e.g. PrimeXM, OneZero, FXCM Bridge, Gold-i, or equivalent)
Demonstrated experience identifying and investigating client abuse: rebate farming, arbitrage, multi-account coordination, NBC exploitation
Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing complex queries against trade databases for investigation and reporting
Python proficiency for data analysis, automation scripts, and building risk-related tooling.
