Tokyo Street Interview Filming Day

I’m putting together a full-day shoot in central Tokyo to gather fast-paced, on-the-street interviews with everyday locals. The goal is to capture spontaneous reactions and opinions that feel authentic and relatable when viewed on short-form social channels.

What I need from you
• Spend one full day (approx. 8 hours) roaming key neighbourhoods—Shibuya, Harajuku, Shimokitazawa, or similar—and initiate brief interviews in Japanese with passers-by.
• Handle the entire field production: camera, on-person mic or small boom for clean audio, quick framing, and keeping energy high so each clip feels natural.
• Supply both the raw footage (preferably 4K or high-bit-rate 1080p, vertical orientation welcome) and a simple file index naming each interviewee/time/location for easy post-selection later.

Acceptance criteria
• Minimum 25 usable interview clips featuring residents of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Clear voice audio with minimal street noise bleed.
• Footage delivered via cloud link within 48 hours of wrap.

If you already shoot with a mirrorless/DSLR plus wireless lav set-up and you’re comfortable approaching strangers on camera, you’ll fit perfectly. Fluency in Japanese is essential; English captions or slate cards are a bonus but not required for this phase.
