Toddler Counting Storybook Draft

I need a warm, engaging manuscript that introduces numbers and early counting to children aged 0-3. The tone should feel playful and nurturing—think rhythmic, read-aloud sentences that flow easily for parents and caregivers, with clear repetition so little listeners can chime in.

Length can sit around 250–400 words spread across 10–12 spreads; each spread should naturally suggest a simple visual scene (e.g., “One sleepy puppy… Two bright balloons…”) while reinforcing numeral recognition, quantity, and everyday objects a toddler already knows. While the primary focus is the text, short illustration notes alongside each spread will help direct an artist later on.

Please deliver:
• A complete Microsoft Word or Google Doc manuscript.
• Brief art notes for each spread (one sentence max per note).
• A one-paragraph synopsis summarising the educational arc.

Acceptance criteria: the draft must include numbers 1-10 in order, keep vocabulary age-appropriate (single-syllable where possible), maintain consistent rhythmic meter, and end with a comforting closing line suitable for bedtime readings.
