Tissue Machine Operational Guidance Needed

Our folding facial-tissue line starts smoothly, yet the moment the knife engages the web slackens and the stack loses its clean fold. I have a factory worker on shift who handles day-to-day running but needs clear, step-by-step operational guidance to keep the paper consistently aligned.
The goal
• Diagnose why the web relaxes right after the knife stroke.
• Walk my operator through corrective actions—tension settings, nip roller timing, side-guide tweaks, any fine adjustments that prevent drift.
How we’ll work
We can connect by video or phone while the machine is running so you can observe the behaviour in real time. Please be ready to reference the typical folding head layout, tension control loops, and knife-to-anvil timing found on standard facial-tissue folders.
Deliverables
1. A live troubleshooting session (or two shorter sessions) that fixes the immediate paper-alignment problem.
2. A concise SOP the factory worker can follow on future startups and roll changes.
Acceptance criteria
• Web remains taut and aligned through at least one full production hour after your guidance.
• Operator can repeat the procedure unaided on the next shift.
If you’ve solved similar alignment issues on tissue or napkin folders, I’d love to hear how quickly you can jump in.
