Black-and-white pencil illustrator for a Christian homeschool curriculum

I’m publishing The Plumb Line, a 12-chapter critical-thinking curriculum for grades 6–8. Each chapter opens with a historical scene (Gettysburg, the Council of Nicaea, the Wright brothers, and others). I’m looking for an illustrator with strong pencil figure work, historical accuracy, and a light, warm touch for a recurring character.

Deliverables (approximately):

1 cover illustration (pencil, lightly color-tinted)
1 character sheet for a recurring Narrator (a stonemason with a plumb line)
12 chapter-opening illustrations (half page, black-and-white pencil)
1 portrait of Isaac Watts
1 small plumb-bob motif and a handful of simple spot illustrations

Style: Traditional pencil, hand-drawn look, reverent but not stiff. Historically accurate costumes and settings.

Content note: This is a Christian book. No illustration will depict God or Christ.

Rights: Full transfer of rights (or a broad license) for print, digital, website, and marketing use.

Timeline: Sketches beginning [month]; final art at 300 dpi by [date].
