Takealot Curtain Listing Expert Needed

Takealot Product Listing Specialist Needed for My Curtain Brand – The Home Club

Project Overview

I am the owner of The Home Club, a South African home and curtain brand selling products on Takealot. I am looking for an experienced freelancer who can help me create and upload professional product listings to my existing Takealot Seller Portal.

I want to start with approximately 20 different curtain product listings, with the possibility of hiring the same freelancer again as my business grows.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The freelancer will be responsible for:

1. Product listing creation: Create new product listings on Takealot for my curtain products.
2. Product titles: Write clear, professional, keyword-rich product titles that follow Takealot's listing requirements.
3. Product descriptions: Write accurate, appealing descriptions that explain the product's features and benefits.
4. Product specifications: Enter the correct product information, including curtain dimensions, colour, material, style, quantity and other required attributes based on the information I provide.
5. Product categories: Select the correct Takealot categories and product types.
6. Product images: Upload and arrange my supplied product images according to Takealot's image requirements. I may need help identifying any images that do not meet the requirements.
7. Keywords: Research relevant search terms to help customers find my curtain products.
8. SKUs and barcodes: Help me enter the correct SKU and barcode information and identify any missing information. Do not invent or reuse barcodes.
9. Listing compliance: Follow Takealot's catalogue rules and required fields to reduce avoidable errors or rejections.
10. Quality checking: Review all submitted listings for errors and provide a list of any products requiring additional information or action.

What I Will Provide

I will provide the product information available to me, including:

- Product photos
- Curtain colours and designs
- Available measurements
- Material and product details
- Existing barcodes or product identifiers, where applicable
- Access to the necessary product information through an agreed, secure working process

Please tell me what additional information you need from me before starting.

Required Experience

I am looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience creating product listings on Takealot South Africa.
- Understands the Takealot Seller Portal and catalogue requirements.
- Can write professional product titles and descriptions.
- Understands product keywords and e-commerce listing optimisation.
- Can work accurately and communicate clearly.
- Can show examples of Takealot listings they have created or explain their previous relevant experience.

Budget and Deliverables

My starting budget is $50–$60 for approximately 20 listings, depending on the work involved.

Please state clearly how many listings you can complete within this budget, your total price, and your estimated turnaround time.

I prefer a once-off project rather than ongoing monthly management.

The job will be considered complete when the agreed listings have been submitted successfully and their status has been reported to me. Takealot's approval is subject to its own review process and cannot be guaranteed by the freelancer.

To Apply

Please answer these questions in your proposal:

1. How many Takealot product listings have you created before?
2. Have you worked with curtains, home décor or similar products?
3. How many listings can you complete for $50–$60?
4. Do you handle product titles, descriptions, keywords, specifications, images and required catalogue fields?
5. Can you share examples of your previous work?
6. How long will it take you to complete this project?

I am looking for a reliable freelancer who can help The Home Club build accurate, professional Takealot listings and potentially work with me on future products.

Thank you.
